COVID READINESS COURSE
The COVID Readiness course prepares individuals returning to work with a comprehensive understanding of COVID-19. The goal of the course is to share best practices and protocols to ensure the safety of themselves, their teams, guests and clients.
Program highlights include:
- Defining and understanding COVID-19 (symptoms, spread and containment)
- Mitigating the spread of COVID-19 through proper use of PPE
- Cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting based on industry guidelines
- Identifying different tests used for detecting COVID-19 or past infection
COVID HOSPITALITY COMPLIANCE OFFICER
The COVID Hospitality Compliance Office (CHCO) certification prepares hospitality leaders by offering the most up-to-date information on COVID-19 compliance, operational regulations and safety protocols. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect individuals and industries, the AHA is committed to imparting knowledge and processes set by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). This course will introduce the fundamentals of COVID-19, including symptoms, methods of mitigation and the roles and responsibilities of a COVID Hospitality Compliance Officer.
Certification highlights include:
- Defining and understanding COVID-19 (symptoms, spread and containment)
- Mitigating the spread of COVID-19 through proper use of PPE
- Cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting based on industry guidelines
- Identifying different tests used for detecting COVID-19 or past infection
- Evaluating products, inventory and efficacy of personal hygiene stations and protocols
- Documenting and report compliance and non-compliance using COVID-19 focused forms
- Maintaining and monitoring compliance of standards and practices determined by the CDC, WHO, and other governmental and regulatory agencies, as well as internal COVID policies.
- Identifying and implementing improvements that can be made to further ensure the wellbeing and safety of guests and employees.
